Kaleidoscopic Vision In One Eye

The legend of the Mass interrupted

G Anjou know them, are not sympathetic to any Sicilian. Thanks to them, however, we experienced one of the most interesting moments in history: with the Sicilian Vespers, there was the reaction of a people who had been patient for 12 years and endured the harassment of the French.
For this reason, all the Sicilians pecked his excommunication by Pope Martin IV.

a law concerning the atrocities of the French soldiers is said to Gulfi Chiaramonte, in the province of Ragusa.

In 1229, when the Angevin sacked the city (Chiaramonte Gulfi was actually destroyed and rebuilt by the Angevin further upstream in the fourteenth century), in the church of a group of people praying.
Just when the Cup was raised in church raided the French, who stopped making snatching the cup from the hands of the priest and killed all the people who followed the function.

At midnight we heard the bell of the church of the shoot appeared and killed the priest with the chalice in his hand followed by all the faithful.
The French, and terrified by a strange attraction to the procession began to follow the faithful into the church killed since.
Mass began and the moment of consecration, just one in which the massacre took place, a strong wind came into the church and the walls began to shake. From the bottom opened a chasm which were pushed into the Angevin, the hole is closed and the faithful danced above us.
E
Pian pianino il piccolo Efestino crebbe ma dentro covava vendetta against the mother disonoratissima that reduced him to that.
grown up, became very good at knowing how to forge metals and used with skill hammer and anvil. He prepared his workshop in a cave and returned the affection and love received from Tethys and Eurynome, manufacturing of beautiful jewelry for them.
One day, a banquet, Teti wore jewelry forged by Hephaestus and the ladies did all the compliments for the creation. Among them was also Hera, who, envious of the fact that someone had more love than she wanted to know who had created these marvels.
heard the truth Hera regretted having abandoned his son and decided to meet Hephaestus. Commissioned a golden throne to his son. Convinced that Hephaestus had not recognized not revealed their identity. Okay
that Hephaestus was lame but not stupid! He recognized her and wanted revenge.

decided to prepare for his mother Hera a magnificent gift: a big throne, and all tempesssstato gemstones.

hihihi ... When Hera sat down she could not move any more because it is tied by invisible strings.
All the gods, including Zeus, begged Hephaestus to untie his mother, but he would have done if he had been allowed to live on Olympus as a respect all of you!
Hera then was released.

Hephaestus and his new life in Sicily

We all know who is Aeolus.
It 's brother Bashful, Sleepy, Dotto, Cucciolo, Gongolo, and obviously missing the seventh dwarf that nobody can ever remember ... hihihi

I try to be serious ...

According to our usual tests science, it seems that Sicily did not become detached from the mainland because of violent winds unbroken, and for that reason Zeus himself gave to the task of controlling the Aeolus wind.

Aeolus was very good at directing, as a perfect vigilant!

sent them and release them and then, when they had to blow more, you keep them inside the caves of Lipari, one of the Aeolian Islands.

Four brothers made up the family of the top twenty:

Boreas was the north wind and the most violent. For the sake of the mares became Dardano and had twelve foals horse swift as the wind.

Zephyr was the second brother, the west wind, was very sweet and light, announcing the spring.

Euro, East Wind, rain alternated with dry periods and was said to bring good weather.

Austria was the last brother, the South Wind, bringer of rain and very hot.

Aeolus had twelve children, six girls and six boys who joined each other, creating winds.

When Ulysses, as I mentioned in another story, he arrived in Sicily, also landed on the islands. Aeolus

course, happy for the visit, the host and finally presented him with the bag in, tightened, contrary winds for sailing.

on Ulysses' ship all the way back and then just blew Zephyr, But while the hero slept, his companions thought that the bag might contain gold donated by Aeolus, opened it and got rid of the winds that triggered a fierce storm.

Aeolus the god of winds in Sicily

U
n that gives information about a Sicilian woman with a simple way of walking, in fact, through the sculettare clear whether the woman is easy costumes or not. It says: "fimmina c'annaca the hip or bitch or we miss pike" (or woman sculetta is little to be a bitch or missing. Sorry for the vulgarity but that is just that). So look man, if your partner is best left sculetta! :-)

Another way to tell if the woman is fimmina is spotless ... to bring it to Comiso, holding a glass of wine ...

What do you mean?

Near the castle is a source named Comiso source of Diana.

It is said that the waters of a source of Diana, if a person immodest and unchaste pouring of wine, this does not mix with water.

Obviously the belief spread everywhere, especially among husbands carrying their wives were at the source and pour the wine to verify that they were faithful

:-) I wonder how many divorces !!!!! :-)
