Company and development
The development also undermines the social fabric because it puts us all against each other as we rush to make more money and climb higher up the social ladder, puts the rich north and poor south against the perpetrator a new form of colonialism as cruel and rude of its most obvious manifestations of the last century and the previous one.
tools of this new type of colonialism are haunted by the development of world class organizations (WTO), the World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF) all operating outside the democratic process, with no elected representatives who meet behind closed doors, responsible only to the owners of the company.
The objective of these institutions is to promote economic development can all defend the "free market" which means the free flow of goods and investments across national borders without hindrance or impediment by sovereign national governments.
The main results of these agreements have increased the social and ecological control.
For example, the liberalization of the market according to the rules of the WTO has meant that food grown in the north with the help of heavy government subsidies to flow in the markets of the south, being more competitive than the price of local product pushing thousands of farmers off their land of prosperous cities and ghettos. The free market rules also allow transnational corporations to move industries in countries where labor is cheap and taxes and the environment are minimal.
companies must pay local taxes from which TNCs are exempt because they can threaten to move their operations elsewhere.
governments lose revenue and therefore have fewer resources for social welfare programs and environmental protection.
These agreements often have serious social and ecological consequences.
The World Bank has granted loans to establish shrimp farming in all the tropics, and the money was used to remove large areas covered by mangrove swamps and other wetlands for these activities, which sell their product to distant markets for goods and luxury in the West. But
swamps covered with mangroves, as we discovered during the recent Asian tsunami disaster, are vital for coastal protection. They also provide home to a variety of living things and of course, from a deep ecology perspective, is valuable in itself for the sole reason to exist.

Free Flying is sublime
Flying is a set of ingredients, first of all the passion, dedication
then, thoughts and fears, determination, courage, suffering and frustration,
energy, self-esteem, knowledge, humility and a bit of exhibitionism together,
a bit of luck and voltage and joy and love.
The air is wonderful and it intoxicates, but still sublime makes us men.

We
infinite drops of an immense mare
il vento sulle onde
ci muove assieme
Siamo fragili foglie
di un grande albero
il Sole eterno
ci permette di esistere
Siamo le tante cellule
di Gaia, la Terra
che ci ha partorito
madre generosa
Siamo scintille viventi
di un unico fuoco
da cui proveniamo
a cui torneremo
Sono la natura
sono la terra.
i miei occhi sono il cielo,
le mie membra gli alberi.
Sono la roccia,
la profondità dell'acqua,
non sono qui per dominare
la Natura.
Io stesso sono la Natura.

Chronicle of a day of no-fly
And 'Saturday, one of many, and quite cold winter with few prospects for the flight, but "If ghe de na, na de ghe and so after long days of rain and frost, (the rain certainly prevents us from flying, but not freezing, not being a daredevil anche il gelo blocca un po’ il mio entusiasmo, però oggi sono qui.
Appuntamento a mezzogiorno. Ora Un altro voletto.
Ho conosciuto anche un ragazzo con il delta, uno che non avevo mai incontrato, che effettivamente alla fine di questa giornata, sarà l’unico ad aver volato, usando il mosquito, e decollando dai campetti.
Ok tutto pronto si parte, siamo in ten, six four hang gliders and paragliders, seem strange that so close to the passion that unites us and we always end up making a separate group.
OK, however the vibrations coming from the group are positive even if it seems that the take-off is closed by a cloud the joy is there.
At one point the snow is beginning to see a large branch on the road and prevents it from continuing, but the enterprising Ignatius is equipped with a chainsaw and clear the road.
the parking break forced to mount the chains, the next ramp is steep and almost every walk we walk behind the bus trudging. But two chains are totally sufficient, the second stop in the plan to fit the front.
Between the four of us
paraglider was born the desire to walk down (just can not fly at least if you walk in the midst of nature and adventure), so the shuttle will bring down our bags and we will go down on foot.
Talking Ignatius of his mountain retreat I came to tell him that he would need to be un'imbiancata and that if I could do it in the spring, since it's my job.
He says it is OK, come on, I do make a change in tandem with the delta. Barter arrangement.
So greetings and down on foot. A piece of normal way and then you decide for a detour, a path I do not know, but the three of them have already done, and within a little while I realize I am walking on the ridge that normally fly over in search of heat to go up, we retraced our steps the bird hunters is that seen from above a double circle as if a path was enclosed by two rows of trees, but seen from above has a different charm, I think I've often wondered what it was and that particular place was on the ground, and here I am, with the snow and fog the charm of this place is extraordinary.
continue the descent, the snow ends and the path surrounded by nature appear the autumn leaves of chestnut trees that have restored to the earth, the ground is slippery and muddy so many times that in turn is likely to fall. A long descent that lasted more than an hour, will remember it tomorrow my legs to the sides have held back the weight. In
landing to wait for the shuttle with our sails and in the meantime talk to the hang glider, the one that flew with the mosquito, tells us that the air was a bit 'mossache headed toward the lake and affect its hour of flight has made it.
We are all a bit 'jealous postpone the appointment at the next opportunity, while in the meantime Ignatius comes with the lights on.
are now five in the afternoon, we retrieve the bags and go, after the customary greetings, you go home. Although
the cloud was just before takeoff and immediately returned to see under it, the sense of love for life and adventure in this beautiful sport has made us desist from making rash decisions. The mountain is waiting for us again next time.
